DIABETIC CLINIC

We have two diabetic clinics a week:

  • Tuesday Morning 8.30am – 11.30am
  • Thursday Afternoon 2.00pm – 5.00pm

The clinic is run by Celina our Diabetic Nurse Specialist.

A doctor is always available for advice should it be required and this is usually Dr. Barford if available.

It is very important that all diabetics attend the clinic have their “diabetic bloods” taken by the Phlebotomists one week before their diabetic appointment. This makes maximum use of the diabetic appointment itself.

Appointments can be made via reception or on-line.

BABY & IMMUNISATION CLINIC

  • Monday Morning

The Baby Clinic is held every Monday morning in our Health Education room at the centre from 8.30am to 12.00pm it is attended by Dr. Kinch or Dr. Tudor in her absence, our Health Visitors and one or our Practice Nurses.

Dr. Kinch sees babies by appointment only. The Health Visitors see anyone who requests to see them.

Our Practice Nurse usually Celina immunises all babies who present for immunisation in the clinic.

The attendance of clerks in the clinic insures its smooth running.

ANTENATAL CLINIC

  • Thursday Afternoon 1.00pm – 3.15pm

This is held in the Health Centre on a Thursday afternoon between 1.00pm and 3.15pm usually attended by two Midwives. All appointments are made via reception, or on-line.

JOINT INJECTIONS & MINOR SURGERY

Can be done by several of the doctors but requires a special appointment

Information about all our clinics and services can be obtained from our practice reception staff.

All doctors and nurses in the practice are experienced in providing family planning care.
